She began her career in the legal field nearly 30 years ago as paralegal and assistant to District Judge Leonard Langen in Valley County, Montana. Jill has worked for large, multifaceted firms in both Helena and Billings, and has spent the last 20 years in Bozeman focusing on civil litigation, real estate, water rights, and probate. She has also worked as a licensed real estate agent and as a licensed appraiser trainee in Bozeman and Big Sky.
On most weekends, you will find Jill floating the river and fly fishing. Her formative years were spent at a cabin on the Stillwater River learning how to fish with her dad and mentor, Byron. Jill is passionate about sharing her love of fly fishing with other women in the Gallatin Valley through the Montana Fly Gals group. She travels frequently to recreate, and to spend time with her daughter Mati. Jill has two Shar Pei companions, Jagger and Brogan, who enjoy accompanying her on the trails that surround her home in Cottonwood Canyon.
